FGCU Head Coach Raina Harmon spoke with FGCU Athletics following the game.

“I thought we came out understanding the scouting report and really battling. We were ahead after the opening 10 minutes, which is good. For us, we’re just looking to get better every game, and I thought we did that today. You look at the George Mason game and the way we completely collapsed in the second half. We had a similar stretch in the third quarter today, but we found a way to bounce back. I challenged them not to lose by more than 20, and I told them we needed to win the fourth quarter, and I thought we did exactly that. We’ve got to work on some things in the middle, but we’re progressing, and I think we’re getting better every day,” coach Harmon said.
