Huntsville, Alabama—Florida Gulf Coast University men’s cross country team finished 21 of 27 teams at the NCAA South Regional Championship at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama on Friday, Nov. 14

Siyabonga Mokgothu led the Eagles finishing 61 of 192 runners in the 10k race with a time of 31:14. Innocent Ntwali finished 125th in a time of 32:48, followed closely by Nekhi Perry in 127th with a time of 32:49. Hector Toro finished 131st at a time of 32:54 and Evan Casterline finished 144th with a time of 33:19.

FGCU beat Stetson University, Samford University, East Tennessee State University, Florida International University, Florida Atlantic University and Jacksonville University.

University of Alabama won the regional championship, followed by University of Mississippi and University of Georgia.
